The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Kokkoro Kirin has been cut.
Mahmut throws a shot from downtown. Kirin moves away and avoids it.
Kirin moves out of range of the leg kick from Mahmut.
Mahmut takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Kirin tries to clinch but Mahmut is having none of it.

Kirin's coach down at Gumburcules Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kirin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Mahmut lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kirin sprawling to the canvas. Mahmut follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kirin hang on?

Mahmut lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sheikh Mahmut!
Sheikh Mahmut took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'There was something about that guys face, you just wanted to beat the hell out of it. He can't get any uglier so why not. Praise Allah Akbar!!!!'.
