Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Lee (ranked 3868 p4p, 2355 weight class) and Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeishi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kabuki Gomen-Jyo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitsugu Takeishi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Nathan Lee has been cut. Lee walks into a left hand. Lee needs to keep his hands up - Takeishi had a free shot at his head there. Takeishi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takeishi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Lee appears to be looking for a big counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nathan Lee's cut is getting worse. Takeishi lands a jab to the nose.
Nathan Lee's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeishi gets in close and instigates a clinch. Takeishi lands a nice uppercut. Takeishi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
Jeez, Nathan Lee's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Lee is breathing heavily. Takeishi is working Lee over against the cage. Takeishi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nathan Lee's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mitsugu Takeishi! Our winner, Mitsugu Takeishi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
