Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Menes Kai (ranked 3041 p4p, 1653 weight class) and LaDaniel Strong (ranked 292 p4p, 169 weight class). Kai comes into the arena with The Astronaut - Jin blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Menes Kai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, LaDaniel Strong!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kai lands a head kick. Strong smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like LaDaniel Strong has been cut.
Kai scores with a jab.
Strong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kai is looking to counter punch.
Strong lands with a straight right. Kai didn't see that one coming.
Nice defenses there by Strong.
Strong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Strong lands a nice shot to the body.
Kai lands a right hook to the body.
Kai scores with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kai lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Strong backs up against the cage.
Kai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kai throws a hook to the side of Strong's head but Strong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice straight punches there by Strong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Strong.
Kai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kai listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Strong loads up on a big right hand but Kai slips the punch.
Kai thinks about countering with a head kick.
Kai scores with a head kick. Strong tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kai throws a right and a left that both miss.
Strong looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Strong missing with a left hand there. Kai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That kick from Strong tenderised Kai's leg. Kai is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kai misses the shot to the body.
Strong doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Strong drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kai right on the button. Kai goes down! Strong follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Strong gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). LaDaniel Strong!
LaDaniel Strong decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
