Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renoa Gracie (ranked 330 p4p, 221 weight class) and Alphonse Fuguego (ranked 35 p4p, 24 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Apaga Mas Não Bate blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Renoa Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Renoa Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alphonse Fuguego!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands a jab-cross combination.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fuguego was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Gracie blocks the strikes from Fuguego.
Gracie wants to control but Fuguego is keeping him busy.
Fuguego slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fuguego has his foot on Gracie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gracie works his way back into a safe position though.
Gracie lands a couple of digs.

Gracie is posturing up here but Fuguego has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Gracie tries to roll out but it's too tight and Gracie has to tap! Slick submission there by Fuguego!

A relieved looking Alphonse Fuguego thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
