The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akechi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Akechi cracks a nice hook into Niaz's ribs.
Niaz fails with an attempt to clinch.

Niaz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Akechi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Niaz yanks on the arm and Akechi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Niaz.
