Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Linkavitch Chomofsky (ranked 493 p4p, 369 weight class) and Benjamin Noeigati (ranked 67 p4p, 52 weight class). Chomofsky comes to the cage accompanied by Mastodon - Sleeping Giant. Noeigati has chosen Cremation of Sam McGee as his entrance music. Benjamin Noeigati is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Linkavitch Chomofsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Benjamin Noeigati!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chomofsky takes a swing at Noeigati's ribcage but misses.
Chomofsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Noeigati circles away.
Chomofsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Noeigati.
Chomofsky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Noeigati tries to move into range but Chomofsky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chomofsky moves into range and connects with a jab.
Noeigati throws out a loose jab but Chomofsky uses good head movement to avoid it.
Noeigati keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Noeigati appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Linkavitch Chomofsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chomofsky scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Noeigati doesn't seem bothered though.
Chomofsky tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Noeigati defends well and Chomofsky ends up having to push Noeigati into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Noeigati appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Linkavitch Chomofsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chomofsky is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Noeigati jumps into side control!

Chomofsky is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Noeigati pulls his head out easily.
Noeigati prevents Chomofsky from improving his position.

Chomofsky looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Chomofsky is looking for a sweep. Noeigati is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, if Noeigati is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Noeigati's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Noeigati takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Noeigati keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The crowd cheers as Chomofsky lands an impressive looking overhand right. Noeigati doesn't seem phased though.

Noeigati looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Chomofsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Noeigati defends it nicely.

A swing and a miss from Chomofsky.
Chomofsky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Chomofsky shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Noeigati has one foot on Chomofsky's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Linkavitch Chomofsky dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

and Noeigati counters with a nice body shot.
Chomofsky misses with a hook
and Noeigati counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Noeigati avoids the body shot from Chomofsky.
Noeigati's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chomofsky connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Noeigati scrambles back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chomofsky.

Noeigati drops Chomofsky with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chomofsky looks back up at him and smiles so Noeigati waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Chomofsky is rocked!
Benjamin Noeigati seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chomofsky misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Noeigati scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Chomofsky throws an overhand right that lands on Noeigati's shoulder, as Noeigati tries to avoid the shot.
Noeigati throws out a counter right but Chomofsky avoids it with no problem.
Noeigati slips under a jab.
Noeigati stuns Chomofsky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chomofsky takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chomofsky throws the left hand but Noeigati avoids the punch easily.
Noeigati follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Noeigati cracks Chomofsky with a hook to the temple - Chomofsky is on wobbly legs here! Noeigati swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Chomofsky falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Noeigati wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Benjamin Noeigati!
An out of breath Benjamin Noeigati thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
