Ahai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ahai drops his hands momentarily and Rothschild takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Rothschild catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Ahai stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Ahai walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Ahai is still on wobbly legs! Can Rothschild finish him?
Ahai throws a shot from downtown. Rothschild moves away and avoids it.
Rothschild is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ahai.

Rothschild gets tackled into the ropes by Ahai. Ahai maintains the clinch.
Ahai seems to have recovered his senses.
Ahai swings wildly with an uppercut but Rothschild uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rothschild lands a left hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ahai tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rothschild misses with some punches.

Ahai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Ahai misses its intended target.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ahai takes the fight into the clinch.

Rothschild cracks Ahai with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Ahai get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Ahai looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Ahai cracks Rothschild with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Rothschild scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Ahai beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Rothschild takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rothschild connects with a quick right hand that sends Ahai tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
