Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haruki Johnson (ranked 32 p4p, 761 weight class) and Dude Dudeson (ranked 7 p4p, 103 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haruki Johnson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dude Dudeson! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dudeson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dudeson throws a head kick that misses and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Johnson throws a good cross that connects.
Dude Dudeson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dudeson lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Haruki Johnson has been cut. Dudeson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dudeson misses with the combination.
Dudeson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Johnson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dudeson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dudeson with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a low kick, right behind Dudeson 's knee. Haruki Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dude Dudeson. Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dudeson manages to avoid it. Johnson drops Dudeson with a big left hand! Dudeson is injured, injured bad! Johnson jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Haruki Johnson! Haruki Johnson retains his light heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Haruki Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Dude Dudeson was interviewed post fight and said 'What can I say, im still the king between the sheets. Ladies hit me up 904-The-Dude!!!'.
