Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Cartwright (ranked 1560 p4p, 787 weight class) and Davonte Durant (ranked 189 p4p, 90 weight class). Durant comes into a darkened arena with his song building. No Bullets Fly - Sabaton kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Cartwright.
A head kick misses from Durant.
Durant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Durant clobbers Cartwright with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Durant has taken the fight to the clinch.
Durant fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cartwright swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cartwright swings wildly with an uppercut but Durant uses good head movement to avoid it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Durant.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

BAM! Durant delivers a spinning backfist that drops Cartwright like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Conrad Cartwright was interviewed post fight and said 'The Cartwright Curse strikes again! The Powers that be just won't allow it apparently.'.
