Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Irong Kasamsun (ranked 613 p4p, 861 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 73 p4p, 101 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Irong Kasamsun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasamsun moves into range and clinches up with Lynar. The referee calls for Kasamsun to work.
Kasamsun lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lynar backwards. Lynar prevents a body shot from Kasamsun. Kasamsun has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lynar regains guard immediately. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kasamsun is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lynar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kasamsun defends well. Kasamsun tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynar is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasamsun sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kasamsun's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lynar working for submissions but it's allowed Kasamsun to get to half guard.
Kasamsun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lynar's head. Kasamsun prevents Lynar from improving his position. Kasamsun is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kasamsun looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nice strikes from Kasamsun there. Kasamsun winds up and cracks Lynar with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lynar taking some punishment here, with Kasamsun in his half guard. Kasamsun is trying to control the action in half guard but Lynar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kasamsun's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kasamsun lands a nice short elbow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kasamsun seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lynar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lynar is looking for a sweep. Kasamsun is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kasamsun takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kasamsun lands strikes from half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Irong Kasamsun dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Lynar shoots in for a takedown but Kasamsun shows good takedown defense. Kasamsun scores with a hook. Kasamsun closes the distance and clinches up with Lynar, looking for a takedown. Kasamsun pushes Lynar against the cage but Lynar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lynar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasamsun swats him away and circles back towards the center. Horrible takedown attempt by Lynar or perhaps it was just good defense by Kasamsun, which made it look bad. Lynar misses the shot to the body. Kasamsun gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lynar tries to pull guard but Kasamsun won't allow it.
Irong Kasamsun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastion Lynar. Lynar tries to pull guard but Kasamsun holds him up against the cage and eventually Lynar drops back down to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kasamsun is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lynar is defending well. Kasamsun can't find room to land a body shot as Lynar controls the action.

Lynar keeping moving, preventing Kasamsun from controlling successfully. Lynar wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kasamsun postures up.
Kasamsun is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lynar can do to turn this around? Kasamsun keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lynar's head. Kasamsun looking to pass the guard. Lynar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lynar working for a triangle but Kasamsun defends it easily.
Lynar has momentary wrist control but Kasamsun slips an elbow through the middle. Kasamsun sitting in guard here, content to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lynar keeping moving, preventing Kasamsun from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Irong Kasamsun dominated that second round. That's time! Kasamsun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Kasamsun lands a head shot. Kasamsun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lynar. We've been told by Kasamsun's head coaches at Gumburcules Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kasamsun fails in his attempt to clinch. Lynar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lynar enables Kasamsun to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lynar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kasamsun working some strikes from top position. Kasamsun working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lynar's head. Kasamsun distracts Lynar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kasamsun is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kasamsun lands a couple of elbows. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lynar working for a triangle but Kasamsun defends it easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Irong Kasamsun showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kasamsun has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
