Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Holden Gracie (ranked 1524 p4p, 1494 weight class) and Principo Adam (ranked 196 p4p, 190 weight class). Adam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dona Eis Requiem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Holden Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Principo Adam!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gracie lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Adam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick from Gracie lands but Adam takes it in his stride.
Adam throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Adam decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Adam is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adam perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Adam throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.

Adam is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gracie has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gracie wants to get back to his feet.
Adam trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Holden Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie has managed to clinch.
Gracie misses with a body punch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gracie.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Gracie misses with a punch on the inside.
Gracie tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Adam's elbow.

Adam lands a nice shot to the body.
Adam stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Gracie is breathing heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch on the inside from Adam fails to land.
Adam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Holden Gracie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie misses with a hook
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Adam throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A swing and a miss from Gracie.
Gracie clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Adam blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Adam blocks a body shot from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a short punch on the inside.
Adam wants the takedown. Gracie is fighting it off but Adam persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gracie's guard against the cage.
Adam is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Adam lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Adam content to stall in guard here.
Gracie wants to stand and escape but Adam is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Adam working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Adam from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Adam scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Adam keeps the fight on the outside.
Adam throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily.
Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gracie looks to land a left hand but Adam moved out of range nicely.
Adam misses with a straight left.
Adam throws a body shot but no joy.
Gracie misses with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adam gets a double leg takedown into Gracie's guard.
Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Adam.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Principo Adam will probably get the nod.

Adam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Adam controls the position.
Adam tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gracie is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Adam is controlling him well.
Gracie on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Adam take his back! Uh oh - Adam has got a rear naked choke here! Gracie is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Principo Adam!
Principo Adam tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
