Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kjetil Olsen (ranked 64 p4p, 109 weight class) and Mike Haggar (ranked 11 p4p, 21 weight class). Olsen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. Mike Haggar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haggar staying out of range there.
Haggar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Olsen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Haggar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Olsen.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Olsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Haggar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Olsen fires out a quick counter leg kick but Haggar just manages to avoid it.
Olsen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Haggar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Olsen's head.
Haggar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

And Haggar tries to counter it with a takedown but Olsen pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Haggar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Olsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haggar on the ground.
Haggar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Haggar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Olsen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
