Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Common Carp (ranked 2990 p4p, 3622 weight class) and Ugrapurod Makagziadan (ranked 341 p4p, 396 weight class). Carp comes to the cage accompanied by Back On My BS - BigXthaPlug. Makagziadan has chosen FIGHT FIGHT as his entrance music. Common Carp had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Common Carp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ugrapurod Makagziadan!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carp ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makagziadan moves away.
Carp definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Makagziadan's coach down at Gold Samurai's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Makagziadan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Carp moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Makagziadan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carp circles away quickly and effectively.
Makagziadan might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Carp lands with a nice combination. Makagziadan backs away looking to recover.

That was a close round but I would say that Common Carp will probably get the nod.
