The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Roth.
A jab from Adunga Jr does it's job there.
Adunga Jr bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roth's head backwards.
Roth avoids a kick to the body.
Adunga Jr misses with a straight right.
Roth rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Adunga Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck for Roth with that takedown attempt.
Adunga Jr tries to land a front kick but Roth steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kwadwo Adunga Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
You get the feeling that Adunga Jr really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Roth can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Adunga Jr is looking to escape.
