Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen Hoddle (ranked 101 p4p, 600 weight class) and Albert Sojka (ranked 17 p4p, 82 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Glen Hoddle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert Sojka! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoddle defending well as Sojka loads up on a big left hand. Sojka slips a straight right by Hoddle. Sojka connects with a looping right hand.
Sojka moves out of range of the body kick from Hoddle.
Hoddle on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hoddle looks to score with a jab to the body but Sojka is just out of range. Hoddle gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sojka. Hoddle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hoddle just misses with a punch to the body.
Hoddle shoots in for a double leg but Sojka sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sojka takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sojka fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A cross from Hoddle lands.
It looks like Albert Sojka has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sojka feints a jab promting Hoddle to slip. Sojka then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hoddle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hoddle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hoddle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Glen Hoddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoddle loads up on a big right hand but Sojka slips the punch. A good leg kick by Hoddle. Hoddle pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hoddle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoddle takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sojka misses with a looping left. Sojka connects with a crisp jab. Hoddle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sojka is trying to defend but Hoddle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sojka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hoddle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sojka defending well though. Hoddle prevents Sojka from standing back up.
Hoddle lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hoddle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sojka wants to get back to his feet.
Hoddle works his way into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sojka taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sojka is rocked! Sojka is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hoddle has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sojka is still in real trouble! Can Hoddle finish him? Sojka is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoddle scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sojka is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hoddle can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Hoddle! Glen Hoddle spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
