Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alpharuis Omegon (ranked 1739 p4p, 2931 weight class) and Lucas McCain (ranked 219 p4p, 330 weight class). Omegon comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton-Saboteur. Lucas McCain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alpharuis Omegon !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain !
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omegon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCain .
McCain throws out a loose jab but Omegon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice body punch from McCain .
McCain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Omegon to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Omegon trying to control the position from guard on top but McCain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Omegon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

McCain wants to stand back up but Omegon manages to pass into side control.

McCain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Omegon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Omegon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

We've been hearing that Omegon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

McCain with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Omegon to score with a decent uppercut.

Omegon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McCain defends well and Omegon ends up having to push McCain into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
