Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Ro (ranked 688 p4p, 505 weight class) and Cam Fleming (ranked 88 p4p, 59 weight class). Fleming has chosen Killa Cam - Cam'Ron as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pate Ro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cam Fleming!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleming shoots and misses
and Ro counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Cam Fleming has been cut.
Ro with a nice calf kick.
Ro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ro.
Fleming uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ro.
Fleming doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ro counters with a nice uppercut.
A low kick from Fleming misses
and Ro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fleming goes for a double leg but Ro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ro continues to drive forward.
Pate Ro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cam Fleming.
Fleming dives in and grabs Ro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ro pushes down on Fleming's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fleming.
A quick step to the side and Ro tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That has opened up Cam Fleming's cut even more.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ro throws a push kick but Fleming slaps the foot to one side.
Fleming tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fleming somewhat.
Ro is looking to counter with a body kick.
Cam Fleming seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fleming throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ro's waist but Ro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fleming off to one side.

Ro sizes up Fleming with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fleming.
Fleming will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fleming has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fleming has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ro finds it's way round the side to connect with Fleming's head.
Fleming shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fleming looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Fleming throws a strike but Ro avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Fleming chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ro can pounce on him.
Fleming shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ro counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Ro is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fleming closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ro circles away.

Cam Fleming's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cam Fleming's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
