Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris John (ranked 181 p4p, 482 weight class) and Dick Niaz (ranked 23 p4p, 55 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think John might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't Stop Me Now. Dick Niaz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dick Niaz!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz moves out of range as John strikes.
Niaz shoots in looking for a takedown but John manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Niaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
