Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ante Petric (ranked 383 p4p, 1085 weight class) and Zdravko Dren Jr (ranked 53 p4p, 138 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zdravko Dren Jr!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petric lands a glancing blow to the side of Dren Jr's head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dren Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Petric has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Petric and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Petric definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Petric throws a body punch but Dren Jr moves out of range.
Petric swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dren Jr.
We've been informed that Dren Jr has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dren Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Petric throws out the jab.

Dren Jr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Petric to score with a decent uppercut.

Dren Jr needs to keep his hands up - Petric had a free shot at his head there.
Dren Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petric swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Dren Jr has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Dren Jr takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Petric is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Petric looks to throw the jab but Dren Jr is out of range.
Dren Jr throws a fast counter high kick but Petric manages to duck under it in time.

A looping hook to the body misses from Dren Jr. Petric does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dren Jr looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dren Jr tries to move into range but Petric moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Dren Jr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Petric throws a series of punches but Dren Jr avoids them all with ease.
Ante Petric is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dren Jr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Petric counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
