Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Rader (ranked 1473 p4p, 3163 weight class) and Gabriel Havran (ranked 187 p4p, 401 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havran misses with a hook
and Rader counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Gabriel Havran has been cut.
Rader connects with a good right hand that stumbles Havran. Havran circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Havran misses with an uppercut. Rader saw that one coming.
Rader fires out a quick counter leg kick but Havran just manages to avoid it.
Havran throws a hook to the side of Rader's head but Rader sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rader looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Havran scores with the left hand. Rader knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Dennis Rader has been cut.
Rader lands a nice shot that snaps Havran's head back.

Havran rushes Rader and presses him up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Havran.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rader.
Havran tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Havran tries a body shot but Rader blocks it.

Havran swings wildly with an uppercut but Rader uses good head movement to avoid it.

That has opened up Gabriel Havran's cut even more.

Rader tries to circle away but Havran has him pinned against the cage.

Havran is looking to control Rader's arms but Rader gets an underhook and turns him. Now Havran has his back to the cage.
Havran's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Havran throws a punch but it's blocked by Rader.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rader.

Havran blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Havran lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rader backwards.

Havran goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rader scores with a shot to the side of Havran's head.

Havran has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Rader seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Havran can turn it around.
Rader pushes Havran back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Havran misses with a hook from the clinch.
Havran is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Rader throws a punch but it's blocked by Havran.

Havran can't find room to land a body shot as Rader controls the action.
Rader lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

The cut above Gabriel Havran's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Rader presses Havran against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Rader makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Havran blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rader really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Rader counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Rader connects with a body shot that sends Havran's belly button to the back.
Rader fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Havran has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rader throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Rader feints and then cracks Havran's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Havran down.

Gabriel Havran's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gabriel Havran's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
