Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kullo Kross (ranked 497 p4p, 2585 weight class) and Rudi Kardi (ranked 69 p4p, 303 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kullo Kross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 2, fighting out of London, Rudi Kardi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kardi closes the distance and clinches.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kardi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kardi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kross's waist but Kross gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kardi off to one side.
Kardi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kross sprawls well. Kross wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kardi gets slowly back to his feet.

Kardi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kross tries to avoid it but Kardi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kross to the ground. Kross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And Kardi tries to counter it with a takedown but Kross pushes his down on his head and steps out.

It looked like Kross wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Kardi shoots in looking for a takedown but Kross manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kardi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kardi misses with a takedown attempt - Kross sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It appears Kross was looking to counter with a kick there.

Kardi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kross can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kross has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kardi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
