The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Chapo.
Adunga Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Chapo.
Chapo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like EL Chapo has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Adunga Jr misses the target.
Chapo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Adunga Jr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chapo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adunga Jr scrambles back to his feet.
Nice defenses there by Chapo.

It looks like Kwadwo Adunga Jr has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adunga Jr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Adunga Jr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Adunga Jr there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chapo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kwadwo Adunga Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chapo lands with a straight right. Adunga Jr didn't see that one coming.
Chapo tries to move into range but Adunga Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That has opened up EL Chapo's cut even more.

Despite the aggression on Chapo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Adunga Jr misses with a hook
and Chapo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Adunga Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Adunga Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A lazy left from Chapo finds it's target.

Chapo throws a combination. Adunga Jr tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Adunga Jr looks to land a left hand but Chapo moved out of range nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chapo, as that shot connected.

Chapo lands a big head kick that sends Adunga Jr tumbling to the mat! Chapo takes a step backwards and waves Adunga Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chapo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adunga Jr.

Adunga Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Chapo's shoulder, as Chapo tries to avoid the shot.
Adunga Jr lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Chapo moves out of range of the strikes.
Despite the aggression on Chapo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Chapo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Adunga Jr throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Chapo counters with a nice right hand that sends Adunga Jr toppling to the canvas! Adunga Jr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chapo finish him?!
Adunga Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

EL Chapo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Adunga Jr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Adunga Jr sends Chapo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Adunga Jr is motioning to the referee to let Chapo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Chapo is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at EL Chapo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kwadwo Adunga Jr!
