Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasko Madzarov (ranked 793 p4p, 595 weight class) and Ali Amir (ranked 101 p4p, 72 weight class). Madzarov's entrance music is UNDER THE BRIDGE. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Amir's choice of entrance music: Mastodon - Gobblers of Dregs. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Amir!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madzarov throws a lazy right hand but Amir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Amir! But no joy.
Amir misses the shot to the body.
Amir is looking to clinch but Madzarov is avoiding it.
Madzarov lands a body shot.
Amir bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Amir does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Madzarov throws a hook but Amir blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little jabbing left from Amir on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Madzarov slips a straight right by Amir.
Amir tries to clinch up but Madzarov circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like Ali Amir has been cut.
Amir wants to land a leg kick but Madzarov is out of range.
Madzarov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Amir is looking to clinch but Madzarov is avoiding it.
A head kick by Amir misses
and Madzarov counters with a right hand to the body.

Madzarov misses the jab.
Madzarov swats away the attempt to clinch by Amir.
A little feinted left hand from Madzarov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Amir missing with a left hand there. Madzarov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Madzarov lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Madzarov looks for the body kick but Amir saw that one coming.

and Madzarov counters with a nice right hand that sends Amir toppling to the canvas! Amir scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Madzarov finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Madzarov cracks Amir with a good jab.

That has opened up Ali Amir's cut even more.
Amir throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Madzarov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Madzarov drops Amir with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Amir looks back up at him and smiles so Madzarov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Amir is rocked!
Amir ducks into an uppercut from Madzarov and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
