Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Trejo (ranked 2228 p4p, 1880 weight class) and Hjalmar Raak (ranked 266 p4p, 233 weight class). Trejo comes to the cage accompanied by El Mas Bravo De Los Bravos. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hjalmar Raak!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo throws a low kick but Raak avoids it.
Raak misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trejo.

Trejo throws a lazy right hand but Raak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Raak instigates a clinch.

Raak ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Raak no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Raak is looking for a triangle but Trejo pushes his legs off easily.

Raak has his foot on Trejo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trejo works his way back into a safe position though.

Our spies down at at Jed's Gym inform us that Raak has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A relieved looking Hjalmar Raak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
