Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 2, fighting out of New York, Jim Bob Walton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elim Garak!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Walton misses.
Walton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Walton looks to land a left hand but Garak moved out of range nicely.
Walton lands with a right hand.
Garak dips to his left and cracks Walton with an uppercut!
Walton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Garak misses with a straight right.
Garak keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick misses from Walton.
Walton moves out of range as Garak strikes.
Garak blocks a jab.
Walton takes a swing at Garak's ribcage but misses.
Garak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Garak takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Garak throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Walton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walton throws a body shot but no joy.
Walton sets himself, and Garak steps forward looking for the clinch! Walton avoids it this time.
Walton swats away the attempt to clinch by Garak.
An inside leg kick lands from Walton.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garak stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Walton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Garak tries to bum rush Walton with a series of wild strikes but Walton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jim Bob Walton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Garak takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Walton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Garak.
Walton throws a head kick that half lands.
Walton throws a head kick that misses.
Garak keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walton.
Garak looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Walton throws a looping overhand right but Garak ducks down to avoid it.
A jab from Walton misses.
Walton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walton looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Walton throws a lazy uppercut

and Garak counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Garak.
Garak controlling from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Garak throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Garak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Garak is still trying to improve position.
Garak advances position into side control!
Walton wants to control but Garak postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Garak cracks Walton with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Garak lands a nice forearm strike.
Garak misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Garak has hold of Walton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Walton seems comfortable defending it but Garak has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Walton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Walton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Garak couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Elim Garak!
Elim Garak spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Jim Bob Walton had this to say: 'I am surprised I made it to the cage to be honest. One hell of a Night Last night. Congrats to the other guy over there. We will run it back one day when im not all f'd up on hallucinogens. '.
