Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rutbane Blight (ranked 2193 p4p, 5353 weight class) and Anderson Adesanya (ranked 261 p4p, 477 weight class). Blight comes to the cage accompanied by Tom MacDonald - "sheeple". Rutbane Blight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Adesanya scores with a punch to the head.
Adesanya throws a head kick that misses.
Adesanya looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Blight connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Blight avoids the body shot from Adesanya.
Adesanya tries to clinch there but Blight circles away.
Adesanya thows a leg kick but Blight checks it
and Blight counters with a nice body kick.
Blight fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Adesanya tries to clinch but Blight moves out of range.
Blight appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Adesanya throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Blight turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Adesanya throws a sloppy head kick and Blight moves out of range easily.
Blight tries a head kick but it misses.
Blight avoids a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blight lands a head kick. Adesanya smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Adesanya counters with a left and a right that stings Blight.

Adesanya has managed to clinch.

Blight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blight takes a swing at Adesanya's ribcage but misses.
Blight fails to land the takedown.
Blight sets himself, and Adesanya steps forward looking for the clinch! Blight avoids it this time.

Adesanya tries to close the distance and clinch but Blight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blight cracks Adesanya with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Adesanya takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Blight moves out of range as Adesanya throws a body kick.
Blight misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blight throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Blight blocks a low kick nicely.
Adesanya just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBlight.
Blight closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Blight lands a jab to Adesanya's midsection.
An inside leg kick lands from Blight.
Blight scores with a crisp jab that stopped Adesanya in his tracks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Adesanya lands a head shot.

It looks like Rutbane Blight has been cut.
Blight walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Adesanya checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Adesanya pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blight looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Blight throws a nice outside leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blight shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adesanya sprawls well. Adesanya wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blight gets slowly back to his feet.
Adesanya tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blight paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Adesanya closes the distance and clinches.
A body shot lands from Blight.
Adesanya with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Adesanya tries a body shot but Blight blocks it.
A short uppercut from Blight.
Adesanya trying to control the position but instead, Blight has worked for underhooks and has pushed Adesanya into the cage.
Blight drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rutbane Blight. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adesanya is rocked!
Blight lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Adesanya is still on wobbly legs! Can Blight finish him?
Blight dips a shoulder and cracks Adesanya with a mighty uppercut! Adesanya falls back against the cage and Blight unloads with a barrage of strikes! Adesanya is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Blight screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rutbane Blight!
As Rutbane Blight got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You dont need to wear your leash, but you will suffer the punishment for thinking for yourself. Sheep are only good in groups. So if you are going to be as dumb as sheep, at least be one together!'.
