Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ugrapurod Makagziadan (ranked 4150 p4p, 3691 weight class) and Davion Petersen (ranked 425 p4p, 390 weight class). Makagziadan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is FIGHT FIGHT. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ugrapurod Makagziadan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Davion Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petersen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Makagziadan counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Davion Petersen has been cut.
Donk. Makagziadan catches Petersen right on the button with a cross.
Petersen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Makagziadan throws a body shot but no joy.
Petersen lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A jab from Makagziadan does it's job there.
Makagziadan works the jab nicely.
Makagziadan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Petersen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Petersen darts in and clinches Makagziadan up against the cage.
Makagziadan is trying to break the clinch but Petersen is controlling him.
Petersen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A right handed body shot lands from Petersen.
Petersen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Petersen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petersen presses Makagziadan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Makagziadan breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makagziadan throws a combination. Petersen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That has opened up Davion Petersen's cut even more.
Petersen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Petersen misses with a lunging right hand
and Makagziadan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Petersen! Makagziadan lets Petersen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Petersen is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Makagziadan drops Petersen with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Petersen! Makagziadan dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ugrapurod Makagziadan!
