Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joanderson Ribeiro (ranked 2526 p4p, 4060 weight class) and Justin Case (ranked 269 p4p, 387 weight class). Ribeiro comes to the cage accompanied by Tropkillaz-Gorilla. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
We've been hearing reports that Ribeiro has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ribeiro misses with a wild combination.
Ribeiro throws a front kick aimed at Case's knee but Case avoids it well.
And Case tries to counter it with a takedown but Ribeiro pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Case uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Case moves out of range as Ribeiro strikes.
Case goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Case feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ribeiro fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Case is out of range.

Ribeiro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Case.
Ribeiro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ribeiro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ribeiro enables Case to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ribeiro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Case throws an elbow that misses. Ribeiro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Case's guard. Nice move by Ribeiro!

Ribeiro has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Case to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ribeiro is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Case pulls down on the head and he's put Ribeiro to sleep! This one is all over!
