Martell has chosen I Pledge Allegiance (Nate Dogg ft. Pharoahe Monch) as his entrance music. Quentain Martell acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell dodges the punch combination from Andersson .
Martell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Martell counters with a nice right hand that sends Andersson toppling to the canvas! Andersson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Martell finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Andersson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Martell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Andersson is in Martell's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Martell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

and Martell counters with a crisp right hand that drops Andersson ! Martell lets Andersson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Andersson is rocked!
Quentain Martell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martell plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Andersson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Andersson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
