Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dallas Flanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mick Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flanders scores with a shot to the body.

Taylor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Flanders kicks off Taylor and gets to his feet.
Flanders slips a jab from Taylor.
Flanders slips a straight right by Taylor.
Taylor scores with a sloppy right hand. Flanders should have avoided that one.
A big left from Taylor misses.
Flanders just misses with a punch to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flanders loads up on a big right hand but Taylor slips the punch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Flanders.
Flanders keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Taylor avoids a kick to the body.
Flanders misses with an uppercut. Taylor saw that one coming.
Flanders misses the shot to the body.
Flanders takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A jab from Flanders misses.
Flanders swats away the attempt to clinch by Taylor.
Taylor moves out of range as Flanders strikes.
Flanders keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Flanders tries to land a leg kick but Taylor saw it coming and moves away.
A slapping body kick lands there for Flanders.
Flanders uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Taylor has time to react.
Flanders throws a lazy uppercut
and Flanders takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Flanders looks to land a left hand but Taylor moved out of range nicely.
Flanders swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A lazy body kick from Flanders
and Taylor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flanders tries a head kick but it misses.
Flanders looks to land a right hand but Taylor moved out of range.

A swing and a miss from Flanders.
Flanders sets himself, and Taylor steps forward looking for the clinch! Flanders avoids it this time.
Flanders misses with a series of wild punches.
Flanders scores with a leg kick.

Taylor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Flanders!

Flanders throws Taylor to one side and escapes!
Flanders takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've been told by Flanders's head coaches at Convicted Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taylor connects with a body shot.

Flanders walks into a straight right hand from Taylor.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Taylor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dallas Flanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Taylor.
Flanders gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Taylor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Flanders takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flanders paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Taylor slips under a jab.
Taylor shoots and misses
and Flanders counters with a slapping leg kick.
Taylor misses with an uppercut. Flanders saw that one coming.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dallas Flanders dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Taylor lands a nice shot to the body.
Taylor cracks a nice hook into Flanders's ribs.
Flanders swings widly with a right hand
and Taylor counters with a straight right hand.
Some wild striking there from Flanders.

Taylor looking to score a takedown here. Flanders is defending well but Taylor drives through and ends up in Flanders's guard.
Flanders is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Taylor dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.


Taylor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Flanders has escaped the position, nice work there.

Taylor is trying to get an arm triangle but Flanders is defending well.

Flanders is trying to buck Taylor off.
Flanders knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground.
Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Flanders is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Flanders is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Taylor asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Taylor moves into full mount!
Dallas Flanders overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Taylor is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Flanders is forced to tap! Great finish!
