Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derwent Bolt (ranked 1387 p4p, 1555 weight class) and Lucas McCain (ranked 178 p4p, 202 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.

McCain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bolt.

McCain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bolt is stalling here. McCain is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bolt seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McCain has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Lucas McCain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Bolt moves forwards but McCain connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bolt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McCain on the side of the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from McCain . Bolt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bolt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCain 's waist but McCain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bolt off to one side.
McCain cracks Bolt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bolt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McCain pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bolt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas McCain !
