Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo P Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P Cruz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hardman misses with a wild body shot.
Ricardo P Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardman connects with a body shot that sends P Cruz's belly button to the back.
P Cruz rushes Hardman and presses him up against the cage.
Hardman blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hardman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fight stays on the outside here - P Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
P Cruz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

P Cruz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hardman darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! P Cruz's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Hardman before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
