PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Old Leg Tartakov (ranked 909 p4p, 1219 weight class) and Turner Meeks (ranked 59 p4p, 77 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 13 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Turner Meeks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tartakov wants to land a leg kick but Meeks is out of range.

Meeks cracks Tartakov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Meeks has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tartakov to stand back up!
Meeks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Tartakov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Meeks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tartakov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Meeks throws a nice looking combination but Tartakov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tartakov is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Meeks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tartakov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Meeks has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tartakov finds it's way round the side to connect with Meeks's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tartakov drops Meeks with a huge uppercut! Meeks drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Tartakov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Our winner, Old Leg Tartakov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Turner Meeks spoke after the fight, saying 'I blame the Ivermectin'.
