Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Dinu (ranked 2466 p4p, 2194 weight class) and Dennis Cunningham (ranked 303 p4p, 264 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cunningham was well out of range. Poor timing from Dinu.
A little jabbing left from Cunningham on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Cunningham counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cunningham.
Cunningham postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dinu wants to stand up but Cunningham is controlling him.

Dinu uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Dinu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cunningham stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dinu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cunningham has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dinu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dinu lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cunningham has hold of Dinu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dinu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cunningham cranks the arm and Dinu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dinu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
