Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastion Lynar (ranked 1329 p4p, 2021 weight class) and Francis Oosthuizen (ranked 143 p4p, 208 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oosthuizen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lynar. Oosthuizen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lynar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oosthuizen throws out the jab.
Oosthuizen misses with a jab, cross combination.
As Oosthuizen tries to get set, Lynar tries to push him back and clinch up but Oosthuizen manages to avoid the attempt.

As Oosthuizen looks to move away, Lynar throws a big counter combo but Oosthuizen just gets out of the way.

Lynar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oosthuizen tries to buck Lynar off but Lynar is having none of it.

Lynar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Oosthuizen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lynar but great work by Oosthuizen .

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lynar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oosthuizen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lynar is looking to take a break and control but Oosthuizen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lynar swings around for an armbar but Oosthuizen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lynar's guard.
Oosthuizen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lynar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's time! Lynar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Lynar or perhaps it was just good defense by Oosthuizen , which made it look bad.
Oosthuizen connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Sebastion Lynar has been cut.
Lynar avoids the body shot from Oosthuizen .
Lynar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lynar throws a big counter combination but Oosthuizen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Oosthuizen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lynar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lynar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oosthuizen was covering up waiting for the punch and Lynar finishes the takedown easily into guard.

In his post fight interview, Sebastion Lynar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
