With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Banana Republic!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem scores with a push kick.
Banana Republic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ubereem walks into a jab.
Republic looks to land a left hand but Ubereem moved out of range nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Ubereem misses its target.
Ubereem takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Republic waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ubereem.
Ubereem ducks under a wild hook from Republic.
Republic pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ubereem back to the cage. Republic follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ubereem clobbers Republic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Republic takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Banana Republic has been cut.
Ubereem uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Republic.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Republic throws a right hand that misses
and Ubereem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ubereem moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Republic! Ubereem continues to tee off on Republic, landing with a left and a right! Ubereem connects with a right hand that leaves Republic sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ubereem!
