Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Skurwysynowski!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Skurwysynowski. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Johnson misses with a straight left.
A thudding body kick lands there by Skurwysynowski!
That kick from Skurwysynowski tenderised Johnson's leg. Johnson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Johnson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Skurwysynowski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Skurwysynowski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Skurwysynowski was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Skurwysynowski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Johnson - the referee stops the clock and Skurwysynowski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Johnson. Skurwysynowski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Skurwysynowski throws out a counter right but Johnson avoids it with no problem.
Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Skurwysynowski throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Skurwysynowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson swings for the body but Skurwysynowski moves out of range.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Skurwysynowski should have avoided that one.
Johnson lands with a good body shot.
Johnson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Kareem Johnson has been cut.

Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Skurwysynowski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Skurwysynowski moves away and avoids it.
Skurwysynowski looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Skurwysynowski misses with a body kick.
It looked like Johnson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Skurwysynowski.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Skurwysynowski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fighters circle momentarily. Skurwysynowski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Skurwysynowski! Johnson is out on his feet! Skurwysynowski rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Johnson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Johnson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
