Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Sokolov (ranked 1403 p4p, 2773 weight class) and Rubber Turtle (ranked 186 p4p, 335 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergei Sokolov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Rubber Turtle!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turtle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Turtle looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sokolov shoots in for a takedown but Turtle shows good takedown defense.
Sokolov fails with the takedown.
Turtle throws a body kick that misses
and Sokolov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Sokolov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Turtle tries to roll over but Sokolov keeps him under control.
Turtle desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Turtle has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sokolov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sokolov trying to control from half guard but Turtle is working away.

Turtle tries to roll over but Sokolov keeps him under control.
Turtle is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sokolov is trying to control. Turtle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Turtle is trying to get back to full guard.
Sokolov has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Sokolov is stalling here. Turtle is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sokolov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Turtle has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Turtle wants to control but Sokolov is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sokolov is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Turtle's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Turtle! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Sokolov has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Rubber Turtle!
