Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hogg (ranked 1176 p4p, 1064 weight class) and Harrison Kiely (ranked 153 p4p, 131 weight class). Hogg comes to the cage accompanied by Styx - Renegade. Harrison Kiely has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Kiely!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogg slips a straight right by Kiely.
Kiely misses with a wild body shot.
Hogg walks into a straight right hand from Kiely.
Kiely throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hogg was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Hogg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kiely scores with the left hand. Hogg knows he should have avoided that one.

Kiely looking to score a takedown here. Hogg is defending well but Kiely drives through and ends up in Hogg's guard.

Hogg has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kiely is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kiely is stalling here. Hogg is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kiely seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hogg has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Hogg has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kiely's face.

Kiely sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kiely felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Hogg takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kiely wants to improve his position but Hogg is controlling well.

The fighters circling - Kiely throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kiely lands with a hook. Hogg tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kiely shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hogg has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

A quick step to the side and Hogg tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hogg ducks right into an uppercut from Kiely.

Kiely bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogg manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kiely's best efforts.

Kiely wants to control from the top but Hogg keeps moving.

Kiely is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hogg has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hogg!

Hogg is taking a breather. Kiely says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kiely is controlling Hogg's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Kiely is staying active underneath Hogg, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hogg is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kiely is aware though and is defending well.

Kiely is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hogg has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kiely is looking to defend but Hogg has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kiely! Hogg pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kiely taps out and this one is all over!
