Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Krahujec (ranked 2197 p4p, 2307 weight class) and Pablo Gaspar (ranked 269 p4p, 280 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gaspar's choice of entrance music: Narco. Kamil Krahujec is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Krahujec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Gaspar! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krahujec will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gaspar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gaspar rushes Krahujec and presses him up against the cage. Krahujec can't find room to land a body shot as Gaspar controls the action.
Gaspar tries a body shot but Krahujec blocks it.
Gaspar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gaspar moves into the clinch. Gaspar is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Krahujec can't fight it off and eventually Gaspar manages to take the fight to the floor. Krahujec looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gaspar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krahujec has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaspar has managed to get both his arms back between Krahujec's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaspar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Krahujec had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gaspar defends it easily. Krahujec looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gaspar passes into half guard.

Gaspar tries to stand but can't do so whilst Krahujec controls his leg. Krahujec's coaches at Brloh have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Gaspar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gaspar tries to stand and escape but Krahujec is controlling the position. Krahujec is looking to improve his position.
Gaspar is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Krahujec tries to get to full guard but Gaspar has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Krahujec looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gaspar tries to pass to full mount but Krahujec defends it. Krahujec is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gaspar trying to control the pace. Gaspar tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Krahujec. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Krahujec wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Gaspar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gaspar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gaspar wants to stand but Krahujec has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Gaspar is keen to just control but Krahujec is a slippery customer. Gaspar stands up and beckons Krahujec to join him on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Gaspar. Those never looked like landing. Gaspar throws a head kick that misses. Krahujec changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Krahujec fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gaspar forces Krahujec back against the cage and clinches. Krahujec slowing the pace effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krahujec dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Krahujec seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Krahujec is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamil Krahujec. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krahujec wants a takedown but no success here.
A short uppercut from Gaspar. Gaspar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gaspar throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Gaspar. That snapped Krahujec's head back.
Gaspar clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Krahujec swings wildly with an uppercut but Gaspar uses good head movement to avoid it. Gaspar stalling in the clinch but Krahujec improves position. Krahujec tries to pull guard but Gaspar forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Gaspar is pushing Krahujec up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Krahujec tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gaspar smiles and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fight moves into the clinch position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Gaspar dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Gaspar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gaspar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gaspar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Krahujec. A head kick by Gaspar misses and Krahujec counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Krahujec working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Gaspar's thigh. Gaspar counters though and makes it back to full guard. Gaspar has Krahujec pulled in close to control his posture. Krahujec works over Gaspar with some ground and pound from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krahujec postures up and lands a big shot to Gaspar's brow. Gaspar is controlling Krahujec's posture. Gaspar is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Krahujec throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Krahujec chips away with some ground and pound. Gaspar controls Krahujec momentarily but Krahujec frees himself. Krahujec drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gaspar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gaspar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gaspar! Gaspar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Krahujec keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krahujec is trying to improve his position. Krahujec is working hard here to advance position. Gaspar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaspar tries to move into full mount but can't pass Krahujec's legs. Gaspar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Gaspar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Krahujec half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gaspar misses with a body kick. Krahujec throws the kick towards the body but Gaspar avoids it. Gaspar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Krahujec counters with a single leg into guard. Gaspar didn't expect that. Krahujec postures up.
Pablo Gaspar has got the better of the ground game so far. Gaspar is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Krahujec presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gaspar blocking some punches.
Gaspar lands a nice elbow. Gaspar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Gaspar looking to stall.
Krahujec tightens his grip and picks Gaspar up, before dumping him to the ground. Gaspar manages to land in guard. Krahujec trying to control the position from guard on top but Gaspar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krahujec pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gaspar is keeping the position for now. Gaspar wants to stand but Krahujec is controlling the position. Gaspar kicks Krahujec off and gets to his feet. Krahujec blocks a head kick by Gaspar.

Krahujec shoots in looking for a takedown but Gaspar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Krahujec's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Krahujec shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gaspar as he jumps to the side. Gaspar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Krahujec or perhaps it was just good defense by Gaspar, which made it look bad. Despite the aggression on Gaspar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamil Krahujec. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krahujec is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gaspar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Pablo Gaspar seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gaspar lands a glancing blow to the side of Krahujec's head. Krahujec dives in for a single leg takedown but Gaspar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gaspar lands with a light punch inside. Krahujec has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gaspar uses from the top position. Gaspar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Krahujec's guard. Gaspar stands and throws Krahujec's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gaspar trying to control the action but Krahujec is working from the bottom. Krahujec is trying to get back to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Gaspar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round! A head kick misses from Gaspar. Gaspar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krahujec moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pablo Gaspar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krahujec misses with a takedown attempt and Gaspar counters with a straight right hand. Krahujec closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gaspar did well to prevent Krahujec getting side control. Krahujec scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Gaspar is looking to escape. Gaspar is trying to get back to full guard. Krahujec working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Krahujec wants to take a breather but Gaspar is having none of it. Krahujec is nestled in close to Gaspar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Krahujec is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gaspar sees it coming and defends easily. Krahujec prevents Gaspar from standing back up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gaspar manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gaspar wants to stand up but Krahujec is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaspar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Krahujec throws a strike but Gaspar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gaspar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Krahujec is proving hard to escape from. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krahujec is on top in guard.
Krahujec throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gaspar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gaspar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gaspar controlling the position. Krahujec wants to control from the top but Gaspar keeps moving. Krahujec throws a big right hand that misses. Krahujec postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaspar keeping moving, preventing Krahujec from controlling successfully. Krahujec sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gaspar's guard. Gaspar is trying to stand back up but Krahujec is controlling him
Krahujec sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gaspar defending well though. Krahujec throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gaspar is trying to maintain the position but Krahujec is very close to passing his half guard. Gaspar has hold of Krahujec's hands but Krahujec slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Krahujec throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gaspar to regain full guard. Krahujec with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Krahujec with a flurry of punches that miss. Gaspar is looking to stand up but Krahujec isn't so interested in that idea.

Krahujec throws a strike but Gaspar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gaspar is stalling in the full guard. Krahujec is looking for a triangle but Gaspar pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gaspar trying to control but Krahujec is working from the bottom. Krahujec working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gaspar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gaspar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Krahujec is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gaspar defends well. Krahujec has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gaspar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Pablo Gaspar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gaspar passes into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gaspar tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Kamil Krahujec has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
