The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bogachev scores with a sloppy right hand. Holloway should have avoided that one.
We've been informed that Holloway has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

A clash of legs there as Holloway blocks the low kick.

Bogachev throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
And Holloway responds with a good body kick, but Bogachev manages to step out the way in time.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bogachev, as that shot connected.
Bogachev feints and then cracks Holloway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holloway down.
Bogachev scores with the left hand. Holloway knows he should have avoided that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bogachev. Holloway does a little dance to reset his feet.

Holloway has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bogachev.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Bogachev.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As Bogachev backs off Holloway throws a huge counter combo but Bogachev manages to avoid it all.

Bogachev turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bogachev lands with an overhand left.
Bogachev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Holloway stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Holloway takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bogachev lands a big uppercut and Holloway crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Holloway looks OK. Bogachev waves Holloway back to his feet!
Holloway is still on wobbly legs! Can Bogachev finish him?

Bogachev lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bogachev finds Holloway's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Holloway flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Bogachev lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Holloway will be OK.
