Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Léopold Béliveau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tonacatecuhtli Aztlan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Béliveau coming out on top.
A jab from Béliveau does it's job there.
Béliveau has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Worn Leather MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Béliveau ducks under a wild hook from Aztlan.
Aztlan lands a leg kick that knocks Béliveau off balance momentarily.
Béliveau lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Aztlan jabs Béliveau right on the nose. Béliveau blinks but takes it well.
Béliveau misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aztlan connects with a right hand. Béliveau shakes it off.
Aztlan throws a lazy uppercut
and Béliveau counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aztlan throws a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aztlan scores with a nice strike.
Béliveau uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Aztlan.
Béliveau tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Aztlan is able to avoid easily.
Aztlan sends Béliveau crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Aztlan is motioning to the referee to let Béliveau up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Béliveau is rocked!
Béliveau is holding his hands too far apart here. Aztlan throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Béliveau is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
