Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joanderson Ribeiro (ranked 3315 p4p, 2341 weight class) and Bruno Adams (ranked 325 p4p, 246 weight class). Ribeiro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tropkillaz-Gorilla. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Adams throws a series of punches but Ribeiro avoids them all with ease.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Adams has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ribeiro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adams .

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Adams manages to get back to half guard.

Ribeiro uses his free foot to push down on Adams 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Adams .
Adams is squirming around, avoiding Ribeiro's attempts to control the action.
