Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cathal Doherty (ranked 289 p4p, 598 weight class) and Danila Bagrov (ranked 38 p4p, 78 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Doherty might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jeremy- Pearl Jam. Bagrov has chosen Империя зла as his entrance music. Cathal Doherty could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Danila Bagrov's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Danila Bagrov!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Doherty. That snapped Bagrov's head back.
It looks like Danila Bagrov has been cut.
Doherty misses with a hook. Bagrov ducked under it nicely.
Bagrov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Doherty cracks Bagrov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Doherty has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bagrov to stand back up!
Bagrov is rocked!
Doherty misses with an uppercut.
Bagrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Doherty finish him?
Bagrov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doherty is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bagrov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bagrov is out cold! Doherty holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cathal Doherty!
