Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tino Takala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Stronk!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Stronk misses the target.
Stronk tries to clinch up
and Takala counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Takala looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Takala seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Takala is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Takala takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Takala has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Well Stronk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Ian Stronk rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
