Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Kaburagi (ranked 2347 p4p, 1230 weight class) and Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 246 p4p, 138 weight class). Oystenteller has chosen "You're Having My Baby" by Paul Anka as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akira Kaburagi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darstknasset Oystenteller!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oystenteller throws a jab when Kaburagi was well out of range.
Oystenteller works the jab nicely.
We've been informed that Oystenteller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oystenteller drives through and clinches with Kaburagi against the cage.
Kaburagi letting Oystenteller take a breather here.
Oystenteller throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kaburagi blocks it with crossed arms.

Kaburagi has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Oystenteller is trying to keep an underhook but Kaburagi manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Akira Kaburagi will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kaburagi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kaburagi is defended easily by Oystenteller.
Kaburagi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oystenteller was well out of range. Poor timing from Kaburagi.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oystenteller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kaburagi is trying to trip Oystenteller. He has hold of a leg but Oystenteller is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kaburagi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Oystenteller is wriggling around but Kaburagi manages to pass to half guard.

Akira Kaburagi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Darstknasset Oystenteller had this to say: 'No worries! The Athletic Commission has just announced my opponent tested positive for illegal steroids again, so this fight has been declared a No-Contest. Thank you to those of us who continue to fight clean!'.
