Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nikolai Magomedov (ranked 22218 p4p, 1994 weight class) and Fester Adams (ranked 229 p4p, 120 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams digs a good hook to Magomedov's body.

Magomedov instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Magomedov fails to land.
Adams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
I was talking to Magomedov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Adams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Adams lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fester Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adams moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A head kick from Adams lands but Magomedov takes it in his stride.
Magomedov wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.
Magomedov misses with a hook. Adams ducked under it nicely.
Adams is looking for the big counter here.
Adams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Magomedov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Adams . Adams circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Adams connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Magomedov onto his butt! Magomedov bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Magomedov is rocked!
Adams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Magomedov leaves his chin hanging out and Adams seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Magomedov crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
