Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ghost Chai (ranked 150 p4p, 209 weight class) and Mike Haggar (ranked 19 p4p, 27 weight class). Mike Haggar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghost Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 50 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai takes a swing at Haggar's ribcage but misses.
Haggar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chai avoids it really well and circles away.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Haggar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haggar showed some decent athleticism there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chai tries to get to full guard but Haggar has control of the leg.

Chai's coaches at Master Chai's Dojo have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Haggar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Haggar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chai swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's time! Chai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Haggar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chai is fending him off so far but Haggar persists. Nope, Chai circles away and we're back to standing.

Haggar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chai.
Chai throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Haggar throws out a loose jab but Chai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Haggar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chai shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haggar shoots in for a takedown but Chai shows good takedown defense.
Mike Haggar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chai throws an overhand right that lands on Haggar's shoulder, as Haggar tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd cheers as Chai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haggar doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Mike Haggar has been cut.
Haggar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Chai has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chai there as he acknowledges the shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Haggar misses the target.
Chai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haggar.
It looked like Chai was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Chai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chai wants it to stay on the feet.
Chai swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ghost Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Haggar.

Chai leaves Haggar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chai slaps away a takedown attempt from Haggar, before circling back to the center of the mat.
It looked like Chai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Haggar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Haggar lands a nice hook to Chai's body. Chai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Chai tries to land a front kick but Haggar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Haggar shoots in looking for a takedown but Chai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Haggar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Chai tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Haggar manages to circle out of the way.
Haggar cracks Chai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Haggar darts in looking for a takedown but Chai gets double underhooks and turns Haggar into the cage.

Haggar has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

A punch lands to the side of Haggar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Haggar throws the left hand but Chai avoids the punch easily.

Haggar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chai takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Chai tries to counter by clinching up but Haggar breaks away and moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Haggar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Ghost Chai is winning the standup battle so far.
Haggar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chai looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Haggar dives in and grabs Chai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chai pushes down on Haggar's head and hops out.

Haggar fails with the takedown.
Haggar closes the distance and clinches up with Chai, looking for a takedown. Haggar pushes Chai against the cage but Chai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chai throws an uppercut from hell that sends Haggar clean off his feet! He's out cold! Chai stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ghost Chai!
An out of breath Ghost Chai thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
