Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Violent Femme (ranked 363 p4p, 668 weight class) and Eduardo Corassa (ranked 26 p4p, 53 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Violent Femme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 47 - 25 - 2, fighting out of New York, Eduardo Corassa!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Femme finds it's way through Corassa's defenses.

Femme cracks Corassa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Corassa is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Femme with a body shot.
Corassa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

It looked like Femme wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Femme throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Corassa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Corassa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Femme has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Corassa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Corassa is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Corassa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Femme to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Corassa is looking to stand back up but Femme counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Corassa.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Corassa is squirming around, avoiding Femme's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Corassa tries to lock up and control but Femme gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Corassa really wants to buck Femme off and get back to his feet.

and Corassa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Corassa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Femme uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Corassa has time to react.

Corassa bucks up and tries to throw Femme off but instead Femme has got his back!
Corassa is trying to get back to his feet but Femme has full control of the position and if anything, Corassa has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Corassa is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Femme off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Femme is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Femme, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
