The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervenka throws an off balance right hand
and Ferkingstad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Marek Cervenka has been cut.
Cervenka throws out a loose jab but Ferkingstad uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Ferkingstad counters with a thumping low kick.

Ferkingstad finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Ferkingstad walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The fighters circling - Cervenka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ferkingstad appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Ferkingstad throws a solid leg kick but Cervenka takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ferkingstad.
Ferkingstad throws a hook to the side of Cervenka's head but Cervenka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferkingstad looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Cervenka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Cervenka might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Cervenka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cervenka is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ferkingstad had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Ferkingstad lands a big right hand that sends Cervenka crashing to the mat! Ferkingstad stays standing though and waves Cervenka back to his feet!

Cervenka is rocked!
Ferkingstad is stalking Cervenka. Cervenka circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Ferkingstad, and it's lights out! Cervenka really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
